I’ve always believed scent is a time machine. One spark, one flicker — and suddenly you’re back in your childhood rec room, wrapped in nostalgia, swimming in the 80s and 90s, with music on the stereo, family nearby, and a life that just felt simpler.

Butcher & The Bride was born from those core memories — and from a family legacy of hard work, grit, and heart. I grew up watching my dad run his Texaco gas station, treating every customer like a neighbour. I learned early that when you pour your whole heart into something, people feel it. That entrepreneurial fire (and pun-loving humour) never left me.

For nearly two decades, I lived in the world of bridal — helping women step into the most emotional moments of their lives. I learned that memories matter. Traditions matter. Details matter. And love — in all its forms — deserves to be celebrated. When that chapter closed, I imagined a new way to keep creating meaning for people… and I followed the spark straight into candles.

Today, Butcher & The Bride is my love letter to nostalgia, family, and cozy moments that last. Every candle, soap, spray, and diffuser is designed to trigger a memory — the ones that shaped us, saved us, and stayed with us. Our scents are clean, pet-friendly, phthalate-free, paraben-free, and designed for real homes with real families (and furry children) in them.
