After my Thierry Mugler Angel era, I still wanted something gourmand, just a little softer. Then I found Pink Sugar.

That was almost 25 years ago, and I had never received so many compliments on a fragrance. People constantly wanted to know what I was wearing. It was sweet, warm, playful and completely addictive without feeling heavy.

So when I found a fragrance oil inspired by it, there was no chance I was going to behave normally. I immediately made a candle. Then I made a perfume.

Cotton candy, raspberry, strawberry and sweet orange create that instantly recognizable sugary opening. Vanilla, fig, flower petals and bergamot soften the sweetness before caramel, powder, musk and warm woods settle close and linger.

This is a memory powerhouse for me. Some people will recognize it the moment they smell it. Others may not immediately remember where they know it from. They will simply know they love it and suddenly need it back in their life.

The fragrance itself feels soft, but do not mistake soft for faint. Light it and it gradually fills the room. Before long, someone will be asking what you are wearing, what you are burning, or what that incredible smell is.
